Troy grew up in Chili while Diane grew up in Henrietta and Penfield. They met during their senior year of college at Roberts Wesleyan College during Resident Assistant training then married the following year. Since then they moved around a bit, but have lived primarily in Rochester, Spencerport, South Dayton, NY, and now Penfield for the last 11 years. They have done a fair share of home renovations in most of the homes they’ve lived in, so they consider themselves natural fixer-uppers.

Troy and Diane have five children: Zack is our oldest. He and his wife Taylor just recently moved back to the Rochester area after living in Indianapolis. Noah and his fiancée, Arina attended Lipscomb University in Nashville and will be married in May 2021. Leah is graduating from Taylor University in Indiana in May 2021. Eli is a sophomore at Taylor University. And Anna, their youngest is a junior at Webster Schroeder High School. They also have two golden doodles: Bristol and Pippin.
